I advise scheduling your newborn session once you start the second trimester of your pregnancy.
I only schedule 8 newborn sessions per month, so it’s important that you get on my schedule early to ensure your spot.
However, if you’re into your third trimester, or have already had your baby, still reach out to me. You never know. I might have a spot.
I get messages via Facebook and Instagram, and I’m happy to respond and answer questions, but I then ask that you fill out my inquiry form on my website. That way we can start communicating via email and I keep all your questions, comments, and requests in one place. Keeping it all together on social media or different places doesn’t work. I try to style to your preferences, so I want to make sure I can refer back to anything you send and have it all in one place. Email works best for me.
Here is the link for you to begin your inquiry and schedule your session:

Once we go over details and you decide to book with me, I send an invoice with the retainer fee due on receipt to confirm your spot, a contract to protect us both, and a questionnaire that allows you to tell me more about what you’d like to see from your session (color scheme, props, lovie choices, etc.).
Even though we have discussion, and you have requested that I move forward with paperwork, your date is not confirmed until all of your paperwork is submitted back to me and your retainer fee is paid. On everything I send to you, I reinforce that my sessions are “first come first serve” based on who returns their paperwork first. This message is included in my emails and text message follow ups. Please take that message seriously, because if someone else is trying to get in on the same month as you and the month fills up, whoever submits first is confirmed.
I’ve had it happen before where someone didn’t follow through with paperwork and a few weeks later they were very upset to find out they didn’t secure their spot. I get numerous inquiries that stop communicating, so I can never be sure you want to confirm until I receive your retainer fee and paperwork. I don’t hold spots. I only send one message when paperwork is sent as follow up. After that, I assume you changed your mind about scheduling.
Once I’ve confirmed you are on my schedule, I send you a Prep Guide which goes over what to expect from your session.
Then we wait for your sweet baby to be born. You don’t have to worry if baby is born early or late, because by scheduling my 8 babies a month I am not overbooked and have plenty of dates available for the babies on the schedule.
If your baby is born premature, we book the session closer to your due date than the baby’s birth date to allow your baby time to gain strength and have a strong enough immune system for the session.
Once baby is born, you contact me to coordinate and choose a date that works for both of us.
Then the fun begins. The session set up with your color choices, having you arrive to studio, and loving on your baby is the best!!! I’ve never had a newborn session that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. The idea is to make families comfortable in my studio, focus on the health and safety of your newborn, and provide you with beautiful photos that will be lasting, treasured memories.
I always appreciate my clients who book with me and the moments to get to know their families. I hope for a chance to work with you, too 😊
